The bridge-mounted design is genuinely unique, and a rotation gives a 30-minute panoramic view spanning both the concession-era riverside architecture and Tianjin's newer skyline.
How to experience it
Ride at dusk if possible, so the ascent covers both daylight views of the river and the city lighting up as the sun sets. Each cabin holds several people, so it works well even for solo travelers waiting to be paired into a car.
