Why visit Qingjing Mosque?
A direct physical legacy of the Arab and Persian merchant communities who settled in Quanzhou during its Song-Yuan peak, it's one of the clearest single sites showing how genuinely multicultural the city's medieval trading population was.
How to experience it
The site is compact — 30 to 45 minutes is enough to see the main structure and surviving stone inscriptions.
Tip
It's a short walk from Kaiyuan Temple, making the two easy to pair in one morning.
