Jiaxiu Pavilion
贵阳, 贵州
A three-storey pavilion balanced on a river boulder, connected to the bank by the stone Fuyu Bridge — Guiyang's single most photographed landmark.
为什么要去Jiaxiu Pavilion?
First built on this rock during the Ming dynasty and reconstructed in its current form in 1909 after earlier fires and flood damage, it's survived as the city's defining image precisely because of its unusual mid-river position.
怎么体验
Cross the Fuyu Bridge for the view from the pavilion itself, then walk the riverside path opposite for the best photo angle, especially after dark when it's lit up.
小贴士
The surrounding riverside street gets busy with food stalls in the evening — good timing for dinner after visiting.
